1. Who We Are

Space Trash is a Discord game and website operated under the OctoDyn name. This Policy applies to the Space Trash Discord application, website, public API, rankings, purchases, subscriptions, and support interactions.

2. Information We Collect

• Discord identifiers: user ID, server ID, display name, and avatar URL when available.
• Game data: inventory, ships, upgrades, crew, currency, progress, fights, raids, bounties, rankings, sectors, and activity timestamps.
• Interaction analytics: commands or buttons used, first-seen and last-seen times, and aggregated activity counts.
• Purchase and entitlement data: Discord entitlement IDs, Stripe checkout/session references, purchase status, subscription status, fulfillment status, product type, and timestamps.
• Technical data: server logs, error messages, IP-related web server logs, browser request information, and security events.
• Support information: information you voluntarily provide when asking for help.

We do not intentionally collect your Discord password, private messages, message content, contact list, presence status, payment-card number, or bank credentials. Payment details are processed by Discord, Stripe, or the applicable app store/payment provider.

3. How We Use Information

• Operate and save the game.
• Process purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, refunds, and fraud checks.
• Show public rankings, garage profiles, and activity counters using limited display information.
• Detect abuse, exploits, duplicate rewards, security incidents, and payment fraud.
• Maintain backups, diagnose failures, and improve game balance and reliability.
• Respond to support and legal requests.

4. Public Information

Rankings and public game pages may display your Discord display name, avatar, active ship, sector, stats, achievements, and leaderboard score. Raw payment records, email addresses, private inventory details, and secret credentials are not intentionally published.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

Information may be processed by services required to operate Space Trash, including Discord, Stripe, Top.gg, hosting providers, domain/DNS providers, analytics infrastructure, and security or backup services. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

We may disclose information when required by law, to investigate fraud or abuse, to protect users or systems, or during a business transfer involving Space Trash.

6. Payments

Discord or Stripe processes payment credentials. Space Trash generally receives transaction identifiers, product information, payment status, entitlement status, subscription status, and limited billing-related metadata needed to fulfill or troubleshoot purchases.

7. Data Retention

Game records are retained while your profile is active and for as long as reasonably needed for backups, security, dispute handling, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and service operation. Logs and backups may remain for a limited period after active records are changed or deleted.

8. Security

We use access controls, HTTPS, restricted server permissions, signed webhooks, private credentials, backups, and other reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices

You may stop using Space Trash at any time. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your Space Trash player data through the Support section. Some information may be retained where needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, security, transaction records, or resolving disputes.

Subscription cancellation is handled through the platform used to purchase the subscription.

10. Children and Minors

Space Trash is not directed to children below the minimum age required by Discord or applicable law. Minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian for purchases where required.

11. International Users

Space Trash is operated from the United States. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations used by our service providers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the game, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated.
